I am not trying to make a political statement, I am merely displaying the truth in what I see. In August 2008 I was walking the streets of Beijing and just happened to come across a group of Tibetan jewelry vendors. While I was looking at a pair of turquoise earrings, 20 police men charged over and started attacking these jewelry vendors with blatant force and anger.
I just happened to have my camera on my hip, and while I was stuck in the middle of this riot I started to take pictures.
